LandServ, Inc. is proudly owned and operated by Evan and Kellie Stearns a family-owned, locally managed landscape company serving Centre County, PA. Together, they bring a balance of industry expertise, community focus, and a commitment to quality service that defines the LandServ experience.
Evan Stearns, is a 2010 graduate of Penn State’s Landscape Contracting program and began his career by launching his own landscape business shortly after graduation. Today, he leads LandServ with years of hands-on experience and a people-first mindset. Evan is driven to build a company where clients feel genuinely cared for, employees take pride in their work, vendors and partners feel respected, and the community sees LandServ as a positive and engaged contributor.
Kellie Stearns formally joined the LandServ team in 2021, though her connection to the company began long before. A State College native with a background in Occupational Therapy, Kellie discovered a passion for administration and business development that has helped shape LandServ’s growth. She leads the company’s office and HR functions, with a focus on elevating the experience of every person who interacts with LandServ clients, employees, and partners alike while helping create a company that truly stands apart.
Account Manager
Jeff brings decades of experience in the landscape industry, with a career that spans a wide range of project types and design challenges. A skilled designer, he specializes in planting design, hardscapes, and the creation of distinctive outdoor rooms. Jeff works closely with clients throughout each project, guiding them from initial concept through final installation with care and attention. Known for his detail-oriented approach, Jeff ensures projects stay on track and clients feel confident every step of the way. He lives in Boalsburg and enjoys playing hockey in his free time.
Account Manager
Zach joined LandServ in 2025 and has proven to be an integral and valuable asset to the team. With over a decade of industry experience and a degree in Business Administration and Management, Zach is driven, detail-oriented, and an excellent problem solver. He is the main point of contact for many of our clients–and provides a steadfast focus and attention that makes a long-term relationship with LandServ a fulfilling one. Zach lives with his family in Houtzdale, PA, enjoys the outdoors, stays involved in his community, and takes pride in caring for the many animals at home.
Operations Manager
Alex is a fellow Penn State Landscape Contracting graduate with over 15 years of industry experience in Centre County. He is LandServ’s dedicated Operations Manager. Alex excels at understanding how all parts of the operation function together; from coordinating crews and equipment, to managing materials, schedules, logistics, and site execution. His ability to see the “big picture” while keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly makes him a key driver of quality across LandServ’s services. Alex and his family live in Houserville, and he is an avid outdoorsman who appreciates Pennsylvania’s natural landscape.
